By simply placing the transmitter near the entrance of your driveway, anything or anyone passing by will cause the reciever to alert you with a pleasant chime. The unit can also be used by the front door, back door, or any other entrance in or out of your home to alert you when a small child is going someplace they shouldn't or even when your teenager is trying to sneek out! This is a great device for business owners to be alerted when a customer enters.
Easy to install by placing the transmitter outside, reciever inside. The wireless technology of the Driveway Alert system allows for the transmitter to be placed up to 400 feet away from the reciever. The transmitter uses Passive Infra-Red (PIR) to detect motion. The transmitter measures in at 4 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches. The receiver measures in at 4 11/16 inches x 3 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches. The transmitter requires 1 9 volt battery that is not included. The receiver requires either 3 C batteries that are not included or a 4.5 volt adapter that is not included. |
