Noise generators are a form of counter-surveillance that employ an audio masking sound which desensitizes bugs and other hidden listening devices. They “inject” noise into an environment’s perimeter, which allows for normal conversation, while simultaneously defeating eavesdropping devices such as contact and spike mikes and tape recorders, that rely on sound leakage. They mount easily to most surfaces and feature optimized voiceband noise masking for acoustic interference against audio surveillance systems.
