Check a window's tinting in 4 easy steps:

Roll a car's side window down half-way

Place the Tint Meter directly over the window, and slide it down to insert the glass into the meter (Tint Meter will turn on automatically)

Within 4 seconds the light transmittance reading is displayed on the Tint Meter's liquid crystal display

Slide the meter off the window (the Tint Meter automatically turns the power off, protecting you against drained batteries)

The Tint Meter works just as well in bright sunlight as it does on moonless nights.

Training manuals are available for this device as well as operator certificates.

Each Model 100 is supplied with two (2) N.I.S.T.-traceable reference samples to verify the meter's accuracy. Light transmittance values are printed on each sample's label. Values are accurate to within +/- one percentage point of a N.I.S.T.-calibrated spectrophotometer. Sample Thickness: 0.0" to .25" and Sample Size: 2" x 2" minimum .
