Being only 2.5 x 1.7 x 1.1 inches in size and weighing only 3.1 ounces, the World Track GPS is fully self-contained and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The unit can be placed in packages, on vehicles, or personnel. The World Track GPS sends detailed reports of routes traveled for quality control and security purposes. You can pick your style of reporting from the World Track by defined methods such as automatic sending of real-time position data, on demand reporting, and "geofencing". These reports are sent as SMS text messages over your local GSM cellular network. Internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers unit for 24 hours. Basic Package:
Everything necessary to start tracking included. No monthly internet access charges. No computer required; receive GPS coordinates on your cell phone or other hand held device. User programmable to send reports automatically or on demand. Locations are reported via SMS text message or email. This option allows the user to implement a wide variety of hardware and software.
Full Service:
Receive your World Track GPS ready to go including a Pre-Activated SIM card. SMS messages are sent through a server allowing you to use Google Earth to track to your target live or view past history. Google Earth uses high resolution satellite images, 3D maps and the power of Google to create a complete virtual world.
What does it Cost?
Our low cost tracking packages make World Track GPS even more affordable. Your startup kit costs $89.95 which includes your web access and activation fee then choose one of two plans - $19.95 per month for 100 locates (additional locates can be added) or Only $59.95 per month for UNLIMITED TRACKING.
What is the SiRF Star III, and why is it so important?
Well, the SiRF Star III chipset is a pretty big innovation in the GPS world, as it has dramatically better performance obtaining a GPS satellite lock and getting you a location, fast. The WorldTracker SMS with SiRF Star III technology provides faster fix times, better sensitivity, and longer battery life than any other GPS Tracking System.
Faster Fix Times, Pinpoint Accuracy
When turned on, the World Tracker SMS needs to figure out where it is by connecting the GPS satellites and triangulating an exact location to within 3 meters.
World Tracker SMS Acquisition Times:
- Hot Typically < 6sec Time To First Fix (TTFF)
- Warm Typically < 35sec TTFF
- Cold Typically < 45sec TTFF
High Sensitivity, Unmatched Dependability
The SiRF star III chipset is better at holding a signal in low signal areas such as traveling in a downtown area where there are a lot of sky scrapers or under dense tree cover. The chipset can track signals down to -159 dBm, and has 200,000 correlators, and most other chipsets have only a few thousand.
Longer Battery Life
The SiRF star III chipset is also very efficient, which means low power draw and longer battery life. Using an external battery case, you can extended the life of the WorldTracker SMS by as much as 30 days.
